Feeling very Prestige with my new Mineral powder foundation........

I have never been a fan of Mineral Makeup.... I remember when they first came onto the market and every beauty therapist I know was ranting on about how wonderful the mineral powders were and how fantastic the coverage was.   I might have needed glasses.. but seriously when I looked at their faces all I could see was a a very uneven coverage that quiet frankly looked yuck...so maybe they needed the glasses, not me!

Determined not to let this dodgy application of Mineral makeup deter me from getting in on the hype, I decided to purchase my first small pot of mineral powder foundation (brand not disclosed).... it cost me a whopping $70 for a tiny pot!!!  I grabbed my Kabuki brush and held my little $70 pot like it was a pot of gold powder and started to apply to my freshly moisturised face.  It felt nice to go on, however i just could not master the art of applying it so you got an even application....turned out it wasn't my application skills it was the inferior product I was applying to my face.   It looked horrible, so i never tried it again.  And as the years went on, mineral makeup on other peoples skin just didn't look right either.

Recently I decided to give mineral another go.  I stumbled across a brand called 'Prestige' (from Priceline pharmacy), the price was sensational at approx $29 and the pot was 3 times the size of the pot of gold poo I had bought so long ago.  I bought a fair in the mineral powder as well as their finishing powder.

OMG can I tell you.... I will never use a liquid foundation again after using this mineral powder foundation and my opinion on Mineral makeup has finally changed..

So I'm going to create my own hype....It sits beautifully on the skin, glides on like silk and just feels so light.  There are no uneven patches (and believe me, I would tell you if there were), and the best thing is if you want a fuller coverage, you just keep re-applying until happy.  The other good thing is under the eye area does not become all lined and crusty, the mineral just seems to suit the skin.

Happy with the foundation powder, I bounced (smile ear to ear) back down to Priceline and got myself a 'colour persist lipstick' which can I say lasts almost all day without cracking and drying out your kissers.  I also bought their 'brow shaping studio' which is just so easy to use for perfect eyebrows every time.

By this stage I'm totally addicted with no point of return (can you tell...ha ha) SO I decided to try their eyeshadows and yes you guessed it, again, amazing!

I really have nothing negative to say about this product at all.  I do have to find out if beauty salons can stock this product or if it is only exclusive to pharmacy - I will let you know.

Give Prestige a try - would be great for home use or even makeup artists - cheap enough to fill your whole kit and still have money left over..

I rate this Brand 10/10
